California Blues Kitty Home
I'm Katerina, and I have Russian Blue kittens available from time to time. Every kitten means a great deal to me, and I want each one to grow up in a loving, permanent home where they'll be part of the family.
My kittens go to their new homes at around 12 to 14 weeks of age or later, and no sooner than a week after their last kitten vaccination, once they are ready for the move. Finding the right home matters just as much to me as raising them well.

One little face may catch your attention, but it's the kitten's personality and the home you can offer that help make the right match. You're always welcome to ask me more about the kitten who interests you.
A note from Katerina
If you inquire about one of my Russian Blue kittens, I will probably ask you quite a few questions. I want to know a little about your family, your daily routine, any other pets you have, and the home you are preparing. It's important to me to know where my kittens will spend the rest of their lives.
In return, I am always happy to answer your questions, too. Please ask about their personalities, how they have been raised, what they enjoy, or anything else you're wondering about. I want you to feel comfortable and informed as we get to know each other.
Learn more about the adoption processBefore you decide
There should be time to ask questions, understand the paperwork, and make sure the kitten is a good fit. Here are a few things I want every family to know.
I use an adoption contract to help protect both my Russian Blue kittens and their future owners. You're welcome to review the contract well in advance, so you understand the terms before making a commitment.
Adoption policiesKnowing more about a kitten's family is part of making an informed decision. I can share the available information about the parents and answer your questions about the kitten's background and care.
Meet our catsI welcome families to ask about visiting before their kitten comes home. Visits may be arranged by appointment starting when kittens are around three weeks old, as long as the timing is suitable for the mother and her kittens.
Learn about visitingTheir well-being matters
A healthy start is an important part of preparing a kitten for their new home. I want families to understand the care their kitten has received, rather than simply take my word for it.
Read more about our approach to healthMy kittens receive vaccinations against feline distemper and common respiratory infections, with early kitten appointments planned around 6, 9, and 11 weeks. Rabies vaccination is arranged according to the veterinarian's guidance and applicable requirements. Kittens are also dewormed.
All kittens placed as pets are spayed or neutered before they leave my care. I'll gladly go over the individual kitten's records with you, including the dates of completed vaccinations and any follow-up care your own veterinarian recommends.
Please confirm the completed services and paperwork for the kitten you choose. Vaccine timing and follow-up recommendations depend on the individual kitten and their veterinarian.
A loving home awaits
Russian Blues often form close bonds with their people, and each kitten settles in at their own pace. A quiet room, familiar food, a litter box, scratching posts, and gentle play can help make their first days feel safe and welcoming.
If you're thinking of bringing a Russian Blue kitten into your home, please tell me what kind of companion you're hoping for. I'd love to hear from you and answer any questions you may have.
